Kigurumi and Identity (2022)
A downloadable zine
This zine was made as a project for one of my university classes. I've since lost the citations and plenty of the image quality, but I think it's still worth keeping around.
For one week, I ran a poll where I asked for people with an interest in kigurumi a few questions pertaining to the hobby and their identity. I ended up with 78 responses, 13 pages, a new found appreciation for the hobby, and some lifelong friends.

Absolutely fascinating! I've looked into Kigurumi some and am nonbinary, and I've felt those two things click well together. I love the disassociation of it all!

In trying to find this in google scholar, I found a paper that starts with "I appreciate collage on a much deeper level than any of you bitches." and my view of academic papers has been shattered beyond repair ~o~
I really enjoyed reading this and I learned a lot. I also liked the presentation of it all with highlights and underlines and cutout collages, it was fun to explore the pages.
